Text and markers in plot based on calculations in SKILL

Hi,

I would like to add text and markers to a plot. To give some background on the question:

A wave form is created and plotted, this is basically an eye diagram, but triggered on an non constant clock. The distance of the clock edge to signal is calculated, I would like to add these time distance numbers in the plot for the user. These numbers or text are calculated in a SKILL function that does the plotting as well.

The markers: basically lines can also be placed at the calculated time distances for graphical representation.

I have looked into functions available but could not find something that could help me. The eye diagram function in Cadence, although it is really advanced, it is not representing the output as I want. The signal is not always stable and thus results in a really ugly eye; for me not issue since I'm not interested in an eye. But the tool is not helping me get the time numbers...

Hope you can help me out?

Kind Regards,

Daniel

    Daniel,

I would suggest you contact customer support (submit a case after logging in). Getting your precise requirements and then getting somebody (such as me!) to do this in their spare time is probably more time than I'd expect in a community forum (certainly I won't have the time, despite being stuck in an airport for the evening!). Customer support would be the best route here.

    Regards,

    Andrew
