Tab functionality of Terminal Directories in Form String Field

Hi all,

I am looking for a skill code which can give the Tab button functionality of terminal in form string field,
Simply My aim is to not enter the whole directory path in string field of form, when I press starting letter of directory it should be able to show the relevant name directory like drop down menu, and tab functionality should also work.

  • Hello,

    the closest thing to what you need is hiCreateComboField, but you will certainly need to play around with the callbacks to enable the features described.

    The modify callback can be used to perform some filtering and pressing Tab will trigger the regular callback and switch to the next field in your form.
