Attain layout vs schematic XL connectivity

mattab

Is there any latest feature in virtuoso to get the XL connectivity between  schematic and layout. (LVS clean)

I am not looking for a device-to-device correspondence, but a feature which will do the job at once

Assume   layout vs schematic instance names are not matching  but pcells point to the tech libs

thanks in advance!!

Try the Update Binding option under connectivity menu. It should work on LVS clean layout

Certainly 'Update Binding' is the way to start, but it's not necessarily the case that LVS clean layout will comply. An XL compliant layout would be a more correct terminology. Take a simple case; LVS will typically use labels as pin/terminal correspondence points. XL will require a pin shape.
