How to make the Option "Fig Groups" turn on when executing the Virtuoso Layout

Thanks for your time.

I'm using the "Group" in the Virtuoso Layout, and always turn on these 2 options.

1. "Display Options" -> "Display Controls" -> "Group Name Only"

2. "Options" -> "Fig Groups" -> "Visible"

With turning on these options, I can see the group names only without seeing the every layer in the group when I press the key "Ctrl + F".

Now, I make the first option turn on automatically when I execute the Virtuoso with setting the Cdsenv Editor.

However, I can't find the way to turn on the second option above automatically, so I turn on this option whenever I execute the Virtuoso Layout.

Is there a method to turn on that second option automatically when executing the Virtuoso?

Best regards.

    After not understanding what you meant by "Options" -> "Fig Groups" -> "Visible", I eventually realised you must be talking about the "Objects" palette as part of the layer palette and controlling Fig Groups there (at least that's what I assume you meant).

    These two settings can be made by setting this in your .cdsinit (for example) or putting in a SKILL file and loading it with load("my options.il") :

    envSetVal("layout" "pteInfraDefValueObjGrids" 'string "Fig_Groups t")
    envSetVal("layout" "displayFigGroupName" 'boolean t)

    Regards,

    Andrew
