How to let pcell using display flotaing point to 8 or more digs (e.g. 1111.125) ?

Hi All ,

I create a graphic pcell(no cdf) ,  only has a rectangle shape  , define stretch in Y direction  (name : Height) . Default  = 1 (float)

Now i change the parameter name "Height" to 1111.125 , it will change to 1111.12 . I want 1111.125 to get correct floating number.

I use techSetPrecision(8) , it does not work.

I use virtuoso (OA) IC6.1.8

Thanks,

Charley

    Charley,

The issue is actually in the formatting of the display on the form. It will actually set the value correctly (I tested it). The underlying UI infrastructure allows control over the formatting of float fields, but it's not used in the generation of the fields for PCell parameters. If you need this, please contact customer support and request a CCR - noting that the relevant function that needs changing is leiGenPcellParamFormField - ask the AE to put me on copy of the CCR and then I can explain to R&D what needs fixing.

    Thanks,

    Andrew
