Angle issue during DRC check

I am designing an on chip spiral Inductor by using SKILL IDE. During DRC checks, following errors as shown:

Since my inductor have multiple segments with multiple different coordinate so they are not always at 45 or 90 degree. therefore please clarify that whether this error can be neglected for fabrication or we have to resolved it then how we can?

-Thanks

    Hello,

    of course you need to discuss this with your foundry, but the DRC errors exists because non-ortho45 shapes might gate the tapeout and/or mask data preparation. Assuming that the DRC rules are coded properly you should be able to easily comply with them. Do a simple testcase for a shape that you are sure that is ortho45 to check the rules:

    dbCreatePolygon(deGetCellView() "M1" list(0:0 1:0 2:1 2:2 1:3 0:3 -1:2 -1:1))

    If you don't see the errors for such a shape then you just need to work-out your math and ensure that your inductor has indeed 45 degree angles.
