Hi,

Is it possible to create a vertical scale field? I dont see any option in hiCreateScaleField to create a vertical one.

Thanks

    Ram,

No, this is not possible. You should contact customer support (submit a case after logging in) to request this as an enhancement.

What do you need it for, out of interest? Maybe there's an alternative if it's part of a bigger problem?

    Hi Andrew,

I can contact customer support.  This is not gating me in anything. I need to introduce a filter using scale field. Due to availability of space in GUI arrangement, I felt vertical scale field would be appropriate.  Since it is not available, I will rearrange some of the elements and fit a horizontal scale field.

    Thanks

Thanks Ram - that makes sense. I asked about the requirement because we had another request a while ago for this which turned out they were wanting the vertical scale to emulate some other UI need, so ultimately the request turned into a request for the actual thing they were after rather than to be able to change the orientation of the scalar widget.
