why i can't print schematic with true-type font?

I have used these expression to switch to TrueType fonts:

envSetVal( "schematic" "useOverrideFontName" 'boolean t)
envSetVal( "schematic" "overrideFontName" 'string "(stick serifBold)")

and it worked, but after printed schematic to eps nothing appeared and also the exported image shows the old font not the true-type font!
and for some reason the words become not aligned.

That's part of the reason why these env vars are not documented and are marked as private for schematics. There are some problems with justification of the labels (it doesn't seem so bad with using sansSerif as the font, but still happens a bit), plus the fact that Export Image is not using the TrueType fonts, and print does not support them (I assume you're using print to output the EPS).

In essence, this should not be seen as fully released functionality (which is why it's not documented - not everything was completed in the implementation).

You should contact customer support (submit a case after logging in) about this - then an enhancement request can be filed on your behalf.

Thank you, Andrew. But I am wondering because I was reading a book and I found a vector image (maybe svg or eps) for a schematic from virtuoso and the labels font is true-type font.

Of course, I don't know how that image was produced. Maybe it was done with the env vars (as I said, it's a bit better behaved with sansSerif fonts), or maybe it was generated by printing to PostScript (or EPS) using the residentFonts option (search in the documentation for residentFonts). Normally that would use Courier (if my memory is correct), but editing the PostScript would be possible to change the fonts.
