adel spectre.out error

Hello everyone,

I am currently using Cadence version 6.1.7 and running a device check with Adel. After the simulation, the spectre.out displays green links and points to the instance causing the warning, as shown below:

However, upon clicking on the green link (for instance, M5.M1), it does not navigate to the schematic. Instead, the CIW displays an error, as depicted below:

I have a few questions regarding this issue:

  1. What are the potential solutions to the above error?
  2. How to use the function which showing in ciw  above?
  3. How can I effectively use the green links in spectre.out?

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

This was (as far as I can tell) fixed in an early IC6.1.7 hotfix (ISR4 - so with .500.4 on the sub-version number shown by Help->About). My guess is that you must be using an older version than that? This broke in IC6.1.7 (was OK in IC6.1.6 hotfixes apparently).

Why are you using such an old version?
