DRD notify not working - Cadence Virtuoso

Hello,

I'm new to layout and wanted to add the DRD notify on option to help me not violate DRC rules, however, when I turn it on, it doesn't notify me of anything. I tried Layout XL and Layout EXL and it did not work for either. I also checked it in Options -> DRD Edit, and have notify enabled.

Is there something else I need to change for it to show up?

I am using the 22nm kit.

Thanks.

"the" 22nm kit. Which 22nm kit? There is more than one foundry which has a 22nm PDK...

Which layers are you using? Then I can potentially check - there's really not much info here. It should work with VLS L - doesn't require one of the higher tiers.

    Andrew

    I am using the GF_22nm_FDX, version V1.0_4.0b

My transistor uses the layers 2Mx_5Cx_1Jx_2Qx_LB

Never mind, I noticed when I started doing more things that it notified me, I just wrongly assumed it would warn me of everything. Thanks
