Get a list of used cells from the physConfig

I want to extract a list of used cells (logLib LogName) from the physConfigID. Every cphGetCell function I looked seemed to be for a specific logLib and logCell. Is this possible?

    I now go by the schematic and get a list of the cells.

    cphGetTopCellView( physConfig)~>instanceMasters~>cellName

    I wonder if there is a better way?

    Strictly speaking you should traverse the physConfig (particularly if there's hierarchy, otherwise you could just look at the schematic as you're doing). I've not done this much with physConfigs (more with config views) but there is an easier API set with the cphVisit functions which do this for you. Here's some code that I just threw together (with very little testing):

    procedure(CCFphysConfigCellViews(cphId @key logical (startMode "LOGICAL_LEAF"))
      let((master (foundViews makeTable('foundViews nil)))
        cphVisitStart(cphId startMode)
        while(cphVisitNextNode(cphId)
          master=
            if(logical then
              cphVisitedSwitchMaster(cphId)
            else
              cphVisitedTarget(cphId)
            )
          foundViews[list(master~>libName master~>cellName master~>viewName)]=t
        )
        cphVisitStop(cphId)
        foundViews~>?
      )
    )

    You might want to try with ?logical t (or not) and try different values of ?startMode (see the documentation for cphVisitStart).

    Thanks for the tip, I'll look into that.
