How to sync between pPars in schematic and CDF using skill

Hi,

So if I add/remove pPars in schematic of the block I then need to add/remove them in CDF to be able to define them on instance.

How can I sync between pPar used in schematic and CDF using SKILL?

THanks.

    Alex,

There's the SKILL function artGenerateHierSymbolCDF(cvId) which will add new CDF parameters based on any pPar() found in the schematic. Note that it doesn't remove any parameters (in case they have been added and not used yet - it takes a cautious approach) and of course any newly added CDF parameters will not have a default value (since there's nowhere to get a default value from), but it may be sufficient for your needs?

    Andrew

    Hi Andrew,

Thanks for the replay. It will help but I need also to remove unused parameters. I would guess I will need to iterate over instances and search for pPars and then delete spare from CDF.
