How to identify if an ADE session is an old "ADE-L" or Explorer/Assembler

Hi there,

Is there a simple way to identify if an ADE session has been open from ADE L  or from ADE Explorer/Assembler ?

Here are the details:

We have some (old) skill code which postprocess the simulations results.

Everything is build around a global variable
IfxGvSId = asiGetCurrentSession()

and the entire code after that assumes that there is an ADE L session, so it is using ADE L SKILL functions.

Now we want to make the same code to work on both old and new environment.

To make this easier I'll need to identify if it is an ADE L session or Explorer/Assembler at the beginning and to set a flag.

Thank you,

Marcel

    Marcel,

    See How to differentiate between various ADE product types (L/XL/Explorer/Assembler) based on session (sevSession)?
