PVS Menu Options Don't Work

I want to check the DRC, and LVS in my layout. But, when I go to the PVS menu and click on either one nothing happens. No DRC or LVS windows open. I use Virtuoso Studio. Your cooperation is appreciated.

What version of PVS are you using? What does "pvs -version" report from the UNIX command line? Which specific Virtuoso Studio version are you using? (Help->About will report this).

Just in case, what does "lsb_release -a" output from the UNIX terminal?

    Thanks,

    Andrew

My PVS folder name is PVS191, so I think the PVS version is 19.1.

Well, the fact that PVS is complaining is a pretty good clue. I don't know what Linux distribution and version you're using (the "lsb_release" output is a bit strange - the very latest Linux releases such as RHEL9 don't usually support lsb_release and so wouldn't find the command), but either way - why would you use the very latest Virtuoso release but a 4 year old version of PVS? I would suggest trying to use PVS23.1 (PVS231) instead.

As the message says, PVS191 is not supported on whatever OS you're running.

    Andrew
