Verilog netlisting using a config

WRM
WRM over 1 year ago

I'm facing a problem when netlisting using NC-Verilog. I would like to force the netlist to use an alternate view using a configuration. I use procedure described in:

Article (11230442) Title: How do I force the verilog netlister to use an alternate view for a particular Instance?
URL: https://support.cadence.com/apex/ArticleAttachmentPortal?id=a1Od0000000nVz8EAE

The issue I'm facing is that when a cell is instantiated in an array mode, the netlister does what it is expected, using the alternate view. For a single instance (not arrayed), the netlister does not use the alternate view. Obviously, I have both instances set to use the alternate view defined in the configuration (I created the configuration with the Hierarchy Editor)

Netlist created by NC-Verilog:

inv_1x single_instance ( "pinout corresponds to regular symbol view")

inv_1x arrayed_instance[7:0] ( "pinout corresponds to inv_1x alternate view")

Configuration used:

myLibrary inv_1x alternate

Could you help?

Thanks
