Question about layer boolean function ALERTs

Running lint from SKILL IDE. After turning on all the preset options I see numerous "ALERTs" regarding various dbLayer functions.

Example:

line 295 (<fileName>): dbLayerAndNot is a Cadence public function was

- deleted in the release 514

- changed in the release 514

That comes across as a mixed message. The function works fine but I'm wondering, should I be using some other function instead?
