NET PROPOGATION FOR MULTIPLE DEVICES

HI all. 

i wanted to know is there any ways in cadence net propagation, now using net propogation, net names can be changed for a single device. can i do same fr multiple devices at a same time??

    Since there is no tool called "cadence" (Cadence is the company name, not the name of a specific tool) it's not obvious what you're talking about here. Are you talking about Connectivity→Net→Propagate in Virtuoso Layout Suite XL? If so, if you have multiple cells selected, you can set the nets one at a time using the previous/next buttons on the form. You can't set the nets on more than one instance (of the same cell) at once this way - you have to step through them.

    Of course, if you had the connectivity in a schematic, you could get whatever connectivity you want that way.

    You might, however, be talking about something completely different since you didn't explain which tool (or version) you were using.
