Window "Selection Mode"

Hello!
Is there any way to extract the "Selection Mode" status at the lower left side of the window, which says "Please select terminals for Power". This text could be arbitrary, and would like to extract the text, or other information if possible.

Thank you very much!

If the prompt is coming from an enter function (e.g. enterBox, enterPoints etc) then I don't think it's possible to retrieve the current prompt. There is the hiSetWindowDefaultPrompt function which can be used to set the default prompt in a window (and return the current default prompt), but this is not the prompt used when an enter function is overriding it (which I suspect is what you want).

Why do you need to get this? It seems a little odd...

I would like to automatically check the "callback" of a certain function, and one of the criteria is to check this status.

    OK, I don't think it's possible though...
