SKILL code to read lvs.report file and copy the data from that file to .csv file

Hi all,

I am trying to write a SKILL code wherein I can

  1. load LVS report file ( * .lvs.report )
  2. fetch the data inside this file
  3. write/copy the data of this (*lvs.report) to a *.csv file format

I tried to use inPort=infile("top.lvs.report") to read the data but this could not work.

Looking for help to write code for above mentioned scenario .

Thanks in Advance

Can't really give you specific advice, since (I assume, given the file name) that this is a Calibre LVS Report (and so a non-Cadence tool). However, I can't see any good reason why infile wouldn't read it (it's ASCII). The only thing to mention is that local paths are resolved with the SKILL path (i.e. getSkillPath()), so if it's in the working directory and you don't give a path component, maybe opening "./top.lvs.report" would do the job?
