layout pin IO Type encoding

Hello
Can anyone tell where or how the IO Type (input, inputOutput, jumper, etc) is encoded in the database ID of a layout pin? I would like to be able to query or change it using SKILL but have been unable to find it.

Thanks for any help that you can offer.

If the pin figure you want is in the variable pinFig (e.g. pinFig=car(geGetSelSet()) then you can get to this with pinFig~>pin~>term~>direction
