Using text files to define spectre analysis with monteCarlo

Zol
Zol 11 months ago

In order to run multiple dc analysis within the same spectre run with alter statements inbetween them, I use the "Definition Files" part of the "Simulation Files" form. It works well with regular runs, but not with montecarlo, because the mentioned analysis definitions are located at the top of the input.scs file, outside of the curly braces of the montecarlo analysis  statement.

How can I use my analysis statements from a text file within the montecarlo setup of ADE Assembler?

My input.scs has a structure like below:

simulator lang=spectre
global 0
include "<path_to_my_file>/text.txt"
parameters temperature=27 vdd1v5=1.5 vdd_2v5_dc=2.5 vdd2v5_min=1.5 vdd2v5_max=4

include "netlist"

Please contact customer support about this (submit a support case after logging in). Please ask the application engineer who picks up the case to contact me - we can then see whether a potential (not fully released) solution for this might be appropriate in your case.

    Kind Regards,
