Maestro : Config sweep in nested configuration

Shankar PA
Shankar PA 10 months ago

I am having a testbench hierarchy as shown below.

I wanted to do a config sweep(using maestro's config sweep functionality) on the instances I0_1, I0_2
Currently this works well if the instance I0 is bound to schematic view in config1.
However, when the instance I0 is bound to config2[A nested config and the hierarchies inside I0 doesn't change], the netlist seems to be generated based on the bindings in config2 and the config sweep settings in maestro are not honored.

How do I accomplish config sweep's of an instance when there is nested sweep configuration.

Thanks

Shankar

    Hi Shankar,

Unfortunately this is not supported. You can only sweep what is present at the top-level config, but not what is in a level below as everything defined under config2 in your case.

    Best regards,

    Alonso
