Global save combo toolbar values

I have created a toolbar combo with the Layout.toolbar file.

Is it possible to save the Combo toolbar values globally or to the current cadence session?

I would like to save the new values to the combo toolbar items per session.

Should I create a global variable that the toolbar combo box references?
