Warning DB-270590: dbHasMatchPointLists is not supported on OpenAccess

Hi all,

I am comparing objects between two OA schematics, and had a run-in with the warning message:

*WARNING* (DB-270590): "dbHasMatchPointLists" is not supported on OpenAccess and will not be implemented.

I can't pin down the root cause, and can't find more information on the message. Any insight would be appreciated.

Best regards

Not sure how you are "comparing objects", but this message is most likely to come from something which is using figId~>matchPoints . This was an attribute which existed in the old CDB (before OA) which had the meaning "Denotes whether the figure’s children has points that exactly match the figure’s points" and returned t/nil.

I was a little surprised to see that this is still documented. I will file a CCR to have this attribute hidden and also the documentation updated.

    Regards,

    Andrew

Thanks Andrew, confirming that accessing the matchPoints attribute spams the warning message. I will exclude it from my comparison.

    Best regards
