Quantus Extraction – “Failed for runUserCmd / Status 256” Error When Using Pegasus SVDB

While attempting to run Quantus extraction on a layout of an inverter database generated from Pegasus LVS/DRC (SVDB) for HW5, the tool terminates abnormally with the following error:

ERROR (LBRCXM-577): Failed for runUserCmd
ERROR (LBRCXM-584): Status 256
ERROR (LBRCXM-709): ***** Quantus terminated abnormally *****

Run details:

  • Tool: Cadence Quantus Extraction 23.1.1

  • Invocation: Using Pegasus SVDB as input (input_db -type pegasus)

  • Extraction type: c_only_decoupled

  • Output: -type extracted_view

Could someone help investigate what might be causing this error?
