Is there a way to get the dbID of or select the layers Highlighted/probed using leHiMarkNet() in Virtuoso Layout Editor using SKILL.

Is there a way to get the dbID  of or select the layers Highlighted/probed using leHiMarkNet() in Virtuoso Layout Editor using SKILL. 
i am planning to modify property of a specific layer highlighted using  leHiMarkNet(), so if i can get its dbID.

    Hello all,
      I want to select all the layers Highlighted using leHiMarkNet(), and either select all of them or get their dbID for Further Processing.
     if there is any function to get the list it would be helpful.

    I joined your two posts (the forum guidelines ask you not to ask the same (or similar) questions in multiple forums).

    Anyway, there is the leSaveMarkNet function which saves the shapes to another cellView, but there's nothing to access the original database objects (it would be complicated because they are throughout the hierarchy).

    Hi,

    I did something similar with `lntAddTrace` (but it should work with `leMarkNet` and `leSaveMarkNet`): 

    - Create a temporary library (or a temporary cellview but the library is easier to erase afterwards and can gather several temporary cellviews)

    - Save your trace with `lntSaveTraces` to the temporary libray/cellview

    - Fetch the shapes of the LPP your interested in

    - Use `dbGetOverlaps` or `dbGetTrueOverlaps` using the shapes bbox from the temporary cellview to retrieve the associated ones in your source cellview.

    The bbox retrieval is unsafe as some unrelated shapes might overlap.

    A safer solution is to generate an abeLayer from all the LPP shapes in the temporary cellview and use a tile iterator with `dbGetOverlaps`

    I have some code on my GitHub which does exactly that : I made a function that takes an LPP and a Net name and returns the associated ABE layer using the Net Tracer.

    I know it's not properly merged in my main branch but I can have a look and try to release it this week.
