What is a manufaturing grid ?

Hi All,

Can anyone explain me what is a manufaturing GRID & its significance in our design?

Move the MANUFACTURINGGRID line to your first lef, right after the END UNITS line. That should work.

**ERROR: (GLOBAL-105): Unknown global 'timing_constraint_enable_property_keywords_with_filter_expression' specified
can anyone suggest how to resolve this error while running placement.....?

looks like the design was saved in a different version where this was a valid setting. you can remove it from the globals.

Hello Maam, any shape means does it include halo also.
If i add a halo to block and if it doesn't allign with manufacturing grid, will I get DRC error?
