Checking USB2 PHY via BIST

Hello,

I would like to check USB2 PHY with BIST and I have several questions (got information from CDNSUSB2PHY_R201_T28HPM document):

1.  Where is the reset coming from - UTMI bus?

2. BISTon must be a pulse or it can be a 0->1 without lowering it back to 0?

3. What's the difference between 8bit mode to 16bit mode in BIST testing?

Regards,

Shay
