layout XL annoyance

Not sure if this is the proper place for this inquiry do direct me elswhere if need be.

My complaint comes when I descend to edit in place a layout. When do this it gets connectivity with XL it opens up the schematic. My wish is if there is a way or option to make the new schematic open up in the already open schematic XL as a tab. It gets old in a hurry having to close all of the old schematic windows I don't need once the edit is done.
