Loading executable to xtensa explorer IDE - for debugging a testsuite application

I installed xtensa explorer SDK which has some example application and testsuite for XOS APIs , I tried to build and run the executable in my terminal , I am able to see the output but I want to debug and see the code working using xtensa explorer IDE . Please help me how to debug the code to know the code flow .
