Replace package symbols without changing netlist?

Hi,

I'm trying to replace the package symbol for a 2-pin component to a custom 3-pin symbol in an existing design. I use PCB Editor 17.4. The third pin is just for thermal relief and will remain disconnected. I only have access to the library and .brd, no netlist or schematic. Is there a way to accomplish this?

    You can add a shape the same size of the pin and tie it to a net.  Otherwise you can export the libraries and edit the part and then read it back it.  The new pins have to be mechanical pins when you do that method....
