Ravel IDE

michd

Hi there,

I come from web devel, with some tcltk, vb,  and I've been using NETBEANS IDE for years (come from Eclipse).

I'm new to ravel coding, and I've started using Cadence Vier, for ravel interactive window feature . But I would like to use project management / subversion integration  / syntax colorization-completion / ... right on Netbeans ide which integrate perfectly in my company here.

so is there a plan to develop a Ravel plug-in  for netbeans in the future ? ( a java development in fact)

regards

Michel

    Hello Michel,

currently there are no concrete plans for an IDE other than Vier Ravel, I am afraid. Using Vier Ravel, packages for Emacs exist which integrate with various version control systems. I appreciate that Vier Ravel is quite different to Netbeans in many ways, but it does have completion, interactive evaluation, online documentation, etc. For syntax highlighting we have syntax files for the editors UltraEdit and TextPad that I could share with you.

     Best regards,

     Björn
