Noise Aware PLL simulations - controlling phasenoise plot

For PLL simulations, I am using frequency meter to measure the phase noise. You need to specify in the frequency meter - outstart from when the phase noise will be computed. There is corresponding periods.txt file generated in the filestructure.

Question I have is the following-- It takes a long time to do these sims and after running the sim, I would like to change the outstart by playing with periods.txt. Is this possible? periods.txt contains the periods info + last line (total number of data points).  This didn't work. Adxl always gives the same phasenoise plot even when you manipulate the periods.txt file.

How is the phase noise computed from periods.txt? Is it possible to do this manually rather than just invoking automatic function through adxl? Ideally I would like to see how phase noise changes as I change the outstart after the long sim is complete.
