help needed with package - WARNING #18010

 Hey guys,

 I received a package footprint from a colleage over seas and when trying to netlist my design I get

WARNING #18010 Part U1-16 on the schematic page -  has no part number property

 I searched everything I could think of, but I cannot seem to locate where the part number property is located, can someone shed some light on where to find this so I can correct this section of the package?

 

I was hoping to get the design netlisted this weeked ;-(, so far no joy..

  • Try selecting the DSN file in the project window, then Edit>Browse>Parts, take the "Prefered" mode, find all the "U1" sections, click on the first section and shift-click on the last section to select them all, then Edit>Properties, or control+E, to get the property details, see if you can find the differences in the properties. (If some of the sections are not placed in the schematic, you might need to place them and assign consistent properties)
