Delay in analoglib library

Hi,

Can you please let me know the exact operation of the "delay" symbol in analoglib?

I tried to check for the schematic of the delay, but I couldn't find it.

When I used the delay in my circuit, it is providing isolation. I am not getting, how it is providing the isolation.

Can you please help me in this aspect?

Thanks,

Shahnaz

    Shahnaz,

Assuming you're using spectre as your simulator, this corresponds to a built-in component in spectre.

You can see some information in the "Analog Library Reference" manual <ICinstDir>/doc/analoglibref/analoglibref.pdf (also can be found in cdnshelp or cdsdoc if using IC5141). It's also covered in the spectre reference documentation, or simply from the UNIX command line you can type "spectre -h delay".

I don't really understand what you mean by "it is providing isolation".

    Regards,

    Andrew.
