QRC on IC6.15

 Hello,

I'm using QRC on IC6.15.

Sometimes, when I try tu run QRC SND Analysis I get the following error:

*Error* getSGq: destroyed window:  - window(invalid):577896832(destroyed)

Is there a way to correct the error without restarting IC?

Thank you very much

Regards

Aldo

    Hi Aldo,

I’m not sure if this is the correct Cadence forum to be asking this question.  (Typically we deal with SpectreRF and related issues)

However, there is a recently reported issue which may be related to what you are seeing:

#1: First, you run SND on UI of "Substrate AC Analysis".

Then, you can see the UI of SAV(substrate abstract view) and the UI of

    "Substrate AC Analysis".

#2: Then if you close the UI of SAV first before closing the UI of "Substrate AC

Analysis", you won’t able to open the SAV.

The CIW will have the following error message.

Error* getSGq: destroyed window:  - window(invalid):315760832(destroyed)

    --

    Note:

If you close the UI of "Substrate AC Analysis" before closing the UI of SAV,

then you will be able to open the SAV. This issue comes from "closing SAV

    before closing SND UI".

Please contact Cadence Customer Support to get information on how to resolve this.  Reference CCR 1049803.

    Best regards,

    Tawna

    Hi Aldo,

I've not found any record of that error from QRC. Without knowing the root cause, it's hard to know if there's a workaround to correct the error - so I suggest you log a service request.

    Regards,

    Andrew.
