Providing offset voltage

Hi,

I designed a rectifier and a regulator. Both modules are working perfectly, when I have simulated as independent blocks. For regulator, I have given offset voltage of 1V.

Now, I tried to integrate both of these blocks. So, the output of the rectifier is given as an input to the regulator.  I have directly connected the output net of the rectifier to the input net of the regulator. How should I give offset voltage here? Since this is a passive tag, I can't afford any external dc voltage. Can you please let me know how to provide offset voltage?

What's the basic difference between offset and dc bias voltage, which are given as parameters for an instance" voltage source " in cadence virtuoso?
