PSS Analysis Error

Hello All,

I am trying to design and simulate a LNA using Virtuoso IC6.1.5.500.1 32

While simulation using "PSS" as analysis, I am getting the following error.

ERROR (SPCRTRF-15177): PSS analysis doesn't support behavioral module components with hidden states found in component 'modnm_ahdl'

FYI... I am using AMS 350nm h35b4d3 technlogy and I am NOT using the PRIMLIBRF library; i am using the transistors from PRIMLIB library only.

Do you think this may be the issue?

Thanks!

 Best Regards,

Kashif

Assuming that modnm_ahdl is provided by the AMS kit, you will need to contact AMS over this. Hidden states are not supported in SpectreRF - you can find an explanation about this here - but in the case of a foundry model, they really should fix it, I think.

    Regards,

    Andrew.
