complex ac-analysis

Is it possible to perform a complex ac-analysis in cadence?

In other words sweeping w in s=(jw+sigma), for a given sigma, rather than just s=jw?

Cheers,
Seb

    Seb,

I don't think so - but then again I'm not sure I really understand what you're asking here...

AC analysis in spectre gives you a complex result (versus the sweep variable, which could be frequency) - so you can look at the real and imaginary part of the response (or magnitude and phase). But I'm guessing that's not what you're asking for.

    Andrew.
