[Help] How to set up digital sources in Cadence?

Hi,

Signal sources include some periodical digital signals, like "10111100110101100000,10111100110101100000,10111100110101100000,......". Is there any way to set up a signal souce conviniently?

I tried the "vpwl" of analogLib, but my digital codes exceed 50. Can any one help me, please?

Thank you very much.

If it's a single bit stream, then you can use either vsource with the type set to "bit", or a "vbit" source from analogLib.

If it's a bus, then the best way would be to use a vector file, accessible via Setup->Simulation Files in ADE. The format is covered in a chapter in the UltraSim documentation, but also "spectre -h vector" gives a bit of coverage (the UltraSim docs are more complete though).

    Regards,

    Andrew.
