Simulink SpectreRF connection problems

Hi,

I am playing with the SpectreRF Engine Simulink connector and face severe problems.

First of all, it is unuseable slow!

I created a simple RF passive mixer. If I simulate it in Spectre alone it is done in a fraction of a second.

If I use the connector with the same input signals from Simulink, it takes 20 minutes!

But it becomes worse: I just duplicate my mixer to have 2 mixers in just one instance. The second mixer is not even used and connected. Again, simulating this in ADE alone is done within a fraction of a second.

With Simulink, simulation starts and at some point Simulink terminates with

block 'cadence_mixer_test/SpectreRF Engine': (COSIM_ERROR) Simulation terminated with error

while Spectre continues to simulate.

I understand that there is ovehead involved but 500ms vs. 20min for the most simple circuit can't be normal.

Is there anything to improve this?
