Smith Chart Bug

Somehow when you add label in Smith Chart Plot window, it's really difficult to move label marque on smith chart and sometimes impossible to edit label captions.Hope someone fixes it in next release.

It would be helpful if you said which version (and ideally subversion) you are using. Help->About in the CIW will tell you this.
There are three different generations of waveform tool out there and I'd like to understand which you are talking about.

Please contact Cadence Customer Support http://support.cadence.com . That way you can file a CCR regarding your issue. Also, the support AE can see exactly what you are experiencing and possibly suggest a workaround. There just isn't enough information to capture your issue accurately. Thanks -- Tawna

Yes, file a Case with Customer Support at http://support.cadence.com . A CCR (bug/enhancement request) can be filed on your behalf. Once you have the Case, you can keep updated on progress through Cadence Online Support. http://support.cadence.com .

We have an existing CCR (and some duplicates) 1272966, which covers a related issue with point markers on a Smith Chart which started in IC616. The fix is complex, but is being worked upon.

I'm hoping that the label issue (which I've reproduced too) is also related - but it would be good to have you report this via customer support (which is the proper channel for bugs, as Tawna said), so that way we can get it prioritized based on it being a customer CCR.
