No options are shown in Cadence Virtuoso ADE: after dc analysis.

Results> Print> no options are highlighted

Please read Guidelines for the RF Design Forum

At the very least you need to explain what versions of the software you're using, and what precisely you are doing and what is not working.

    Regards,

    Andrew.

I am using Dongbu PDK, I want to find the phi and gamma parameters of the transistors to calculate change in threshold voltage due to change in source voltage. When I ran the dc analysis no options are highlighted in Results>Print domain of Virtuoso Analog Design Environment.

You still didn't mention the software version you're using (or even which Dongbu PDK you're using), but it sounds to me as if something is wrong with the setup of the PDK.

The best thing is if you can contact customer support, as that way we can get a testcase from you and request the same PDK from Dongbu which would allow us to debug this properly.

    Thanks,

    Andrew.

Presumably you must have a license, otherwise you'd not be able to run the software. Somebody in your organization must have set up the licenses - so speak to them. If you do:

    echo $CDS_LIC_FILE

(if set, or echo $LM_LICENSE_FILE otherwise), you should see that the license server is set to 5280@hostname (or similar). If you ssh or rsh onto that hostname, and run "lmhostid" or can figure out where the license file is located (maybe doing "ps -ef | grep cdslmd"), you can take a look at the top of the license file and find the hostid.

If you are from a University, you may need to go through whoever in your faculty runs the Cadence program. In European Universities, you can also go via EuroPractice to get support.

These forums are not intended to be a substitute for full customer support. General simple (and fairly complex things) can be answered directly, but it's pretty hard for things that are data dependent unless you can see the data. Also, if you don't provide enough information, even simple things can't be answered (in the forums or in customer support).

    Kind Regards,

    Andrew.
