FATAL (CMI-2010): Assertion failed in file `bypassUtils.cc'

Hello,

I'm facing the following problem, when I try to run a transient simulation.

FATAL (CMI-2010): Assertion failed in file `bypassUtils.cc' at line 1977.

FATAL (SPECTRE-21): Assertion failed.

The only thing that I empirically know is that it's a  hierarchy problem: a block in my system causes this problem, but if I remove the block and I put exactly what is inside that block, the simulation can run.

I also couldn't find the file  `bypassUtils.cc'

Has anyone experienced this?

I work with Virtuoso 6.1.5-64b

Thanks

More relevant would have been the simulator version number (at the  top of the spectre.out log file).

There have been various assertion failures coming from this file over the years - I can't find an exact match though (the line number could change from subversion to subversion though).

Which simulator version were you using? Could  you try using the latest hotfix of MMSIM13.1 or MMSIM14.1? If it still fails after that, you should contact customer support so that we can identify the problem and fix it.

    Kind Regards,

    Andrew
