Inductor Flattening

analogy
analogy over 10 years ago

So, I am using gpdk045 (ind_a) and when I was faletting my ind_a layout cell, I came across this warning -

*WARNING* (BND-2005): Layout instances and terminals do not match the source.

Use 'XL Status' in the Navigator or run 'Connectivity - Check - Against Source' for more details.

If the bindings are correct, run the 'Update from Source' commands,

otherwise run 'Connectivity - Update - Binding'.

INFO (LX-1063): Building the layout generation form...

INFO (LCE-1009): The cell verifier found no violations.

*WARNING* (LE-103805): The Flatten command does not support PR boundary objects. These objects will not be

flattened.

What does this mean ?

Not sure it makes much sense to be doing the flattening in VLS XL anyway, but even so, I don't see this at all. The ind_a I'm using (from gpdk045 v4.0) doesn't have a prBoundary - so I can't see why it would give this error. I tried gpdk045 v3.5 too - also no issue.

The other messages are just normal VLS XL messages saying that your schematic and layout don't match (not surprising if you've flattened it).

    Andrew.
