unable to see spiceIn generated cell in library manager

Dear All ,

I am not sure this is the  correct forum but if it is wrong please point me to the correct forum.

I am trying to convert a spice netlist to a schematic view.  IC616 has virtuoso@ spice In utility  which allows me to do this. (There is a case for this to those who are interested.)

The utility works fine and the file import is successful but I am not able to see the  converted cell name in the library manager.

However when I try to edit the cdf parameters for the library , the cell name is visible.

Could you please advise as to how to make the cell name visible in library manager.

Thanks & Regards

Vishal

    Vishal,

Perhaps you just need to do a View->Refresh in the library manager? Seems a little strange to me - the other thing you might need to do is just click on a different library name and then back to the library you've just imported to get library manager to refresh what it is displaying.

This is assuming that it's the Cadence Library Manager being used, rather than a different one (some Design Management solutions have their own library manager).

    Regards,

    Andrew.

    Thank You , Andrew.

I tried that and it did not work. I think the issue is with local settings for library manager.

I will check with in-house support to see what can be done.

    Regards

    Vishal
