RF engineering

Hello,

Radio-frequency engineering, or RF engineering, is a subset of electrical engineering involving the application of transmission line, waveguide, antenna and electromagnetic field principles to the design and application of devices that produce or utilize signals within the range of about 20 kHz up to 300 GHz.Radio-frequency engineering is incorporated into almost everything that transmits or receives a radio wave, which includes, but is not limited to, mobile phones, radios, Wi-Fi, and two-way radios.

    I don't think this is a particularly appropriate question for this forum? It doesn't appear to have an obvious connection to any Cadence tools unless I'm missing something (and this forum is mostly about RF IC Design, using Virtuoso).
