Multiple S-parameter simulation in same testbench

Hello, I want to do s-parameter simulation of more than one in same testbench. The thing is I have extracted .s4p file of a real differential channel and I have created passive differential channel with transmission line and interconnection. I can do s-parameter simulation of both in different testbench. Now I want to compare my passive differential channel with the snp file generated from the real extracted channel at different frequencies and to change the passive channel components if necessary to match with the real channel.

I have created a testbench. I have added 4 ports at the termination of my differential passive channel. I have also included parallely nport (4 port) instance where I included the .s4p file. I have also terminated with 4 ports of 50 ohm. In the sp analysis setup, I also have selected all the 8 ports. Now when I do simulation, after simulation is finished when I go to direct plot option it only shows my passive channel s parameters in the plot and there is no other option, i can see to plot the s-parameters of  .s4p file of the real channel.

Can anyone help me how to do this?

Note: I am using virtusos version IC6.1.7-64b.500.4

    Hi,

I guess you may have forgotten to add the new 4 ports to your analysis setup.

Hi, Thanks for your reply. It was not wrong with any setup. The thing is in the direct form option there are only few default options to plot like S11, S21, S12, S33 like that for further ports (for more than 4), there is another option where you can choose the port number from drop down list which I ignored. Thanks a lot though for your reply.
