extraction parameters not recognised in hirarchy simulation

yefJ
yefJ over 6 years ago

Hello,i have tried to simulate the extraction model of the layout inverter,

i have build a hirarchy and defined the inverter to be the av_extracted file as shown bellow.

However the transient simulation of the test bench doesnt recognise the exctracted capacitors.

The full log txt is attached.

where did i go wrong?

Thanks

On the QRC extraction form, on the Netlisting tab, ensure that the Parasitic Capacitor Models and Parasitic Resistor Models are both set to either Include as Comment or Do not Include. You must have them set to Include Model. You'll need to re-run the extraction to create the extracted view again.

This is covered in spectre simulation with av_extracted view gives error about undefined model cmodel.

    Andrew.

Hello Andrew, this is my QRC  extraction window, i have signed the extaction to be RC type but there is no include model option in this window.

Did you read what I said earlier? I said “on the Netlisting tab”. Please look there
