plotting two op parameters simultaniosly

Hello , I am trying to plot simultaniosly rout and region op on the same plot.

A Ids rout,Ids region,(both as a function of vds) were created succsesfully, however when i do one plot and select append plot on ADEL and try to append region plot into it,it shows a flat region=0 (cuttof) plot.

Athough its not the situation as shown in the (Ids region only) plot shown bellow

when did i go ploting region and rout OP on the same plot?

Thanks

    Dear robert 21,

If I understand your problem correctly, you would like to plot rout with the operating region on the "same plot" - suggesting a common x axis but two different y-axes (one for the value of rout in ohms and one for the operating region).

When you tried to using the "Append" option set in the ADEL, the two waveforms were plotted as two seperate sub windows.

Since the independent axis (x axis) uses the same units for both of your waveforms, you should be able to right-click on the operating region waveform and Copy it. Navigate to your plot of rout and then right-click and issue a "Paste" command and the waveform should overlay the rout waveform. If the second waveform has a different set of units than the first waveform, from the plot of rout, right click on the x-axis and check the "Allow any units" (see attached figure). You should then be able to paste the second waveform with the different set of x-axis units into the first waveform.

I hope this helps - let me know if I did not understand your question correctly robert 21.

Hello Shawn, Thank you very much.

i put two separate plots into subwindows and connected rout with region together  on one subwindow ,it worked.

    Thanks
